Tharaka Nithi County Assembly Speaker Hon. John Mbabu has called on the electorate to support their elected leaders to enable them deliver their mandate.
Speaking at Chera Catholic Church yesterday where he kitted the Parish choir with uniform, Mbabu said politics are over and its now time to deliver.
“Our people, all I ask is for support of our leaders so they can achieve what they were elected in office to do” he said.
“From the President, Governor, Senator, Woman Representative, Members of Parliament and our MCA’s, let us not pull our leaders down but give them necessary support,” he continued.
The speaker later attended a fundraiser to complete the Kirege PCEA church, thanking the adherents for their prayers, that he said they helped him clinch the Speaker’s position, and promised to work with the Church in various projects.
