Azimio leader Raila Odinga has called off the anti-government demonstrations and asked his supporters to resume on the streets tomorrow morning for the Day Two protest.In a statement a few minutes to 5 pm on Wednesday, Mr Odinga said the Day-One protest has been a success despite the government ‘abducting, arresting, maiming and even shooting dead peaceful demonstrators’.“I am asking the Azimio supporters to end the demonstrations at exactly 5 pm and resume the streets tomorrow morning. The Day-One protest has been a success,” said Mr Odinga.Meanwhile, he confirmed the release of his bodyguard, Maurice Ogeto after the morning arrest and also demanded the release of all other detained leaders and followers unconditionally.
