A 27-year-old-man from Nyabuogi village in Marani Sub-County, Kisii County has
reportedly hacked his sister-in-law and her two children to death.
Marani Sub-County Commander Mr Benjollife Munuve has confirmed the horrible incident that has shocked the villagers .
Mr Munuve told the media that the suspect surrendered himself at Rioma police station shortly after reportedly committing the crime.
He said after residents learnt about the murder, they threaten to lynch him what could have pushed him to surrender to the police.
“The suspect is being held at the police station and investigations have been launched,” said Mr Munuve.
He said the investigation team is expected to establish what transpired before the crime was committed.
The killed children are a boy and girl aged below five years.
