Council of Governors’ Health Committee Chairperson Muthomi Njuki has expressed the need to critically evaluate the health sector from multiple perspectives with a view to improving the existing structure to better the Nation’s health service delivery.
Speaking during a high-level consultative meeting of the CoG Health Committee, national government representatives, oversight bodies and development partners in Naivasha on Wednesday, Governor Njuki said it is only through thorough evaluation that Kenyans will enjoy good healthcare services.
The theme of the conference is: “Towards improved coordination, cooperation, collaboration, partnerships, and information sharing for delivery of Universal Health Coverage”.
Yesterday, national government in collaboration with the county governments officially rolled out registration into Social Health Authority.
The new healthcare insurance cover is expected to enable all Kenyans including the vulnerable access quality healthcare.
