Former Chief Officer dies in an accident

Former Tharaka Nithi Chief Officer (CO) for Water and Irrigation Eng. David Gichoni is dead.
The former CO died in a tragic road accident along Kawanjara-Ishiara road while coming from a friend’s burial at Ishiara in Mbeere North, Embu County.
Tharaka Nithi Governor Muthoni Njuki eulogized the deceased as great servant who dedicated his life to public service.
“On my behalf, my family, the Tharaka Nithi County Government and the people of Tharaka Nithi County, we stand with Eng. Gichoni’s family during this grieving time, “posted Governor on his official Facebook page.
Maara Constituency Mp Kareke Mbiuki expressed his shock following the heartbreaking news of his friend, the engineer.
“My heartfelt condolences to the family, friends and colleagues. Wishing you peace, comfort and courage at this time of sorrow,” said the Mp.
