Cabinet Secretary for Interior and National Administration, Prof Kithure Kindiki will tomorrow hold an early morning public Baraza in Antubetwe Kiongo, Igembe North Constituency, Meru County.
The CS will address the security concerns emerging in the region, particularly recent cattle rustling activities that led to the death of the former MCA for Antubetwe Kiongo Ward, Mr George Kaliunga.
According to media advisory seen by The Peak, the CS will discuss the immediate steps the government has taken to mitigate the rampant banditry cases in the region.
The event will be held at Ndoleli Chief’s Camp, Antubetwe Kiongo, starting at 7.30 am.
The banditry problem which has remained for many years has claimed lives of people and loss of many livestock.
