Interior Cabinet secretary Prof. Kithure Kindiki and Tharaka Nithi County MP Susan Ngugi are among leaders who have come through to support Gatunga family with a sick child requiring operation at Kenyatta National Hospital.
Kindiki’s contribution was handed over to the family by MP Susan when she visited the family from Mpunguni with her support too, promising to follow up on the case so that the child is treated.
Moses Murithi the father to the child says he was born with complications such that he has to relieve himself through tubes inserted on the waist.
The Peak also learnt that the family lost their first born to similar complications a while back while undergoing treatment,but they are hopeful that this one will survive.
It is a contribution that was warmly received by family and Mpunguni residents who have been standing with the family to have the kid treated.
According to the information shared on MP Susan socials,the sick boy is scheduled for an operation at Kenyatta National Hospital at a date she didn’t disclose.
