President William Ruto held a significant meeting with Members of Parliament (MPs) from Meru County at State House, Nairobi, on Monday. The primary focus of the discussion was to align the MPs’ development plans with the President’s Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda, a strategy aimed at fostering inclusive growth across the nation.
Through his official X account, President Ruto expressed his satisfaction with the alignment of the MPs’ development initiatives with his administration’s economic agenda.
“I am pleased to note that Members of Parliament are aligning their development agenda with the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda. This strategic alignment is essential for achieving inclusive growth,” he announced.
During the meeting, President Ruto detailed the development programmes discussed with the Meru County legislators. Key topics included the Last Mile Connectivity projects for both electricity and fibre, as well as the construction of markets and roads.
