Kindiki Tops in Latest Cabinet Secretary Performance Survey
Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki has once again been ranked as the best-performing CS in President William Ruto’s administration, according to a new survey by Infotrak released on Monday, June 10, 2024.
The survey evaluated the performance of various Cabinet Secretaries since their appointment in October 2022.
Kindiki earned a B plain, scoring 60 percent in addressing issues affecting Kenyans. The survey highlighted Kindiki’s strengths in communication, competency, and service delivery.
Specifically, he received 61 percent for effectively communicating his office’s activities to the public, another 60 percent for his competency, and 61 percent for his success in improving ministry operations.
Following Kindiki, Youth and Sports CS Ababu Namwamba scored a C of 52 percent in addressing public issues, communication, and improving ministry operations.
Defence CS Aden Duale came third with 50 percent, while ICT CS Eliud Owalo and Environment CS Soipan Tuya both scored 49 percent.
Agriculture CS Mithika Linturi was ranked the lowest, with a score of 38 percent, equating to a grade E.
