While at it, she took the opportunity to urge people to embark on mass planting of trees in expectation of the Elnino as predicted by the meteorology department as a way to conserve the water and the environment in general.
The president is committed in this affair for the benefit of protection of our environment and climate therefore we should not be left behind in the cause that will ensure safety for the future generation both economically and health wise,” added the legislator.

She also visited a family at Keriani village, in Chuka igambangombe, after the ‘Peak’ highlighted the story of the family’s tribulation with a sick 15 year old girl suffering from a brain atrophy condition since she was 3 years and has been bedridden for years.
She made a donation of foodstuffs and cash for medical assistance of the girl and upkeep of the family, while encouraging them to maintain their hope and trust that they will overcome the great challenge they were facing and asked the community come together and help such families in need.
On politics, Susan insisted that there was no need for early campaigns as there was no vacant seat and that she was more focused on working for the people of Tharaka Nithi delivering her promises.
“When campaign time comes, I will come back to our people with a score card showing my work and I will not need to make posters because I will have delivered what I promised my people,” she remarked.
