Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru has retained the Council of Governors’ (CoG) chairperson position together with her deputy, Wajir Governor Ahmed Abdullahi.
Ms Waiguru is serving her second term in office and as the CoG chairperson.
Most of the committee chairpersons including Tharaka-Nithi Governor Muthomi Njuki of Health have retained their positions.
Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja who served in Human Resource committee has been replaced with Nyeri’s Governor Mutahi Kahiga.
Ms Wavinya Ndeti of Machakos has been replaced as Trade chairperson by Susan Kihika of Nakuru while Baringo Governor Benjamin Cheboi has taken over from Tana River’s Dhadho Godana as Security committee chairperson.
