Drama unfolded at Kirigi Primary School in Embu North Sub-County after a parent disrupted learning activiy in the school, assaulting and biting two teachers and two junior secondary school pupils.
Area Chief Lincoln Muthee Kithaka while confirming the incident said the parent had been asked to accompany her son to school for failing to complete his homework, when she turned violent and assaulted the headmistress, a teacher and two learners.
“At around 10 Am this morning I received reports from Kirigi Primary School led by their headmistress that a parent had caused fracas and assaulted two teachers including two JSS learners by biting their fingers. Her son had been asked to bring her to school for failing to complete his homework”, he said.
The parent was arrested and taken Kirigi police post, pending further investigations”, he added.
The assaulted teachers and learners are being treated at Kianjokoma level three hospital.
