Anti-government demonstrations have already kicked off in several counties across the country despite the government declaring it illegal.
In Nairobi, Siaya, Nakuru, Kisii, Homabay, Kisumu, Kakamega, Kajiando and Mombasa counties among anti-riot police officers are already in running-battles with the protesters who have taken to the streets barricading roads.
Police have already arrested several protesters detaining them in several police stations across the country for participating in the ‘illegal demonstrations’.
Outside the former First Lady Mama Ngina Kenyatta’s Muthaiga, security guards from the KK Security Company are manning the premises after the government withdrew its security officers assigned to the former first family’s homes.
