Kenya 7s team (Shujaa) will feature in the HSBC 7s Rugby series Play-off at the London 7s to decide the 12th team to feature in the series next season.
The Play-off will include four nations in a round-robin tournament where the top two ranked teams will meet in a winners-take all match.
With Japan automatically relegated, 12th to 14th-placed Uruguay, Kenya and Canada will join Challenger Series winners Tonga in the Play-Off.
The four nations will play the other three teams once, two matches on Saturday and one on Sunday after which the top two ranked teams will meet on Sunday evening, in a one-game winner-takes-all match.
The 2024 World Rugby Sevens Series was whittled down from 16 to 12 teams.
Kenya face Canada at 1.51 PM and Tonga at 4.59 PM on Saturday 20, May and play Uruguay at 2.19 PM on Sunday 21, May.
