Malindi court has released Shakahola Cult leader Paul Mackenzie and his six co-accused persons, but immediately rearrested to face radicalisation charges at Shanzu law court.
The court denied the State Counsel 90 days to complete investigations into the accused relationship with the killing of 109 people exhumed in land associated with him.
The prosecution will charge Mackenzie a fresh with radicalization under the Prevention of Terrorism Act in Shanzu, Mombasa.
Mackenzie who is the founder and leader or Good News International church was born in 1973.
In Shanzu law court, Pastor Ezekiel Odero is set to be arraigned in connection with Mackenzie case.
The renowned televangelist, Ezekiel is being represented by country’s top-notch serious crime lawyers, Danstan Omari and Cliff Ombeta.
