A family from Nkwego-Chuka Igambang’ombe constituency is pleading for justice and probe over their kin Daniel Mutembei who was murdered by allegedly known people.
Postmortem reports indicated that the deceased died from injuries inflicted on his head and chest from the beating he had received from his perpetrators.
The report further showed that apart from the beating, Mutembei was also strangled on the neck before he met his death unfortunate death.
Police OB report at Chuka police station indicates that the deceased was assaulted by known people on the night of 18th this month at Rubate area and left for dead after falling unconscious.
He was rescued in the morning and rushed to Chuka County referral hospital for treatment but was pronounced dead on the arrival.
The grieving family thus want investigations into the matter done to establish the root of the murder and Justice served since they say as things stand they don’t feel secure too.
